Comment faire rentrer Lean Startup et Customer Development dans un seul livre référence, qui reste pratique et lisible! Avec en plus beaucoup de points abordés en double lecture: pour l'économie digitale et pour l'économie traditionnelle. Parfait!

Un tas d'informations, mais c'est le format qui ne convient pas.C'est un livre qui n'est pas lisible dans l'ordre, il vaut mieux lire un chapitre par ci et un chapitre par là . Sauf que c'est une galère en format numérique. Le menu (sur kindle) de ce livre n'est pas pratique. Une partie importante du livre reprend Business Model Generation. Pourtant BMG est beaucoup plus digeste.

Ce livre est impressionnant, tant par son contenu que par sa taille !Habitué aux différents ouvrages (de taille raisonnable) publiés chez cet éditeur, j'ai été surpris de recevoir un véritable pavé de presque 600 pages. Un tel ouvrage pourrait rebuter, mais dès les premières pages on comprend que l'on est à l'opposé du manuel scolaire ou de l'ouvrage pompeux. L'écriture et la façon dont les auteurs abordent les différents sujets de façon concréte font de ce livre une véritable expérience : un road-book de la création. Un livre qui vous accompagne et vous force vous poser les bonnes questions de l'idée au lancement... et même après.Ne vous arrêtez pas sur le titre, l'ouvrage est bien en français

This is an incredible resource for how to get a startup up and running. I've been searching for a how-to guide for years and this was the first that gave a complete roadmap (and many, many, many checklists!). It is information heavy, much like a textbook. And it won't handhold you through certain sections, assuming you have an understanding of basic business practices, management, leadership, securing financing, marketing, etc. But it will show you when and how differently you may implement those tools within the startup timeline.Unfortunately I have to knock it for half a star because of one nagging issue: the publishers did a bad job with the formatting in the book, and that could make it a difficult read -- or at least awkward -- despite the trove of information it contains. It's like someone who designed PowerPoint presentations for a living decided to layout a book that way. So there are a lot of bullets where there could be a different style of callout and the headers for sections aren't consistent. For instance, the author mentions a list of four elements he'll review in more detail. Then each element will have it's own titled paragraph/passage that isn't numbered. But then the next passage after all four has the same style also--wait, is that five elements? Let me go back and check... For an already info heavy book, it makes for awkward reading. Also, I'm not a fan of the switching to semi-bold, san-serif type when mentioning elements solely for digital, but with a black and white book, you can't do something like change the page color.If v2 of this book was in color, with better and consistent formatting, sidebars for interesting facts, and different page colors to differentiate between, physical, digital, physical/digital, I'd give it SIX STARS!

This is a great book for anyone who is interested to do a startup.I will strongly suggest that the reader to follow the instruction of the author to use this as a reference book instead of rushing through the content.Apart from startup founders, I find this book to be very useful for product development as well.The author has lay out the process for the reader to follow. Normally, I will not follow strictly on the instructions of a book. This is the few books that is an exception. The general direction is great.Do not expect specific step by step instruction for each process. You will need to do your own analysis for your project. Such as the questions to ask so that you can validate a problem or solution.

I'm shocked how over-rated this book is. Everything else I've read about Lean Startup does a much better job organizing the content and presenting the material than this book does. About 80% of the words in this book are extraneous filler that appear intended to make the book longer rather than adding meat to the proverbial plate. Two books that are far more enjoyable to read and far better at presenting the Lean Startup principles are The Lean Startup (Eric Ries) and Nail It Then Scale It (Furr/Ahlstrom). Also Alex Osterwalder's The Business Model Generation. But don't read this one. Another problem I have with this book is the rigid and specific process for each individual step that he outlines for every facet of a company's journey. How short-sighted to think that every company would need to follow all of the same minute detail the same exact way. His attempts to standardize the process for any startup fall flat because they're as implausible as they are dull.

Best entrepreneur book period. If you liked Lean Startup (another great read/education) you'll love this one by Steve Blank. He taught those guys. I love how the author really reset your approach and lays out a clear plan on how to test and scale. There is also a free class you can take taught by Steve Blank on Udemy that pairs well with the book. I've bought copies for my business partners and friends.

I was not impressed with this form of business planning. It works OK. Just not what an old timer would be happy with.This is a Fail now fix it type of business planning, It finds all the mistakes you make through bad planning, and fixes them before you really start but it's costly to do it this way.I learned a different way in college, so I found a different book that worked better for me.
